Super ETABS too.)
SETS: HIGH PRECISION QUALITY and USEFULNESS
PrePre1 & PrePre2 (Preprocessor of preprocessors) give:
- Precise Isometric View:
To obtain VISUALLY CORRECT GEOMETRY of the MODEL to avoid GARBAGE-in & GARBAGE-out later.
- In one single operation, you can rotate (each from -360 degree through +360 degree) the model about X, Y, and Z axes.
(You have option to simply hit Carriage Return to skip the axis you do not want.)
- All lines retain correct isometric directions and proportions.
- This means that all lines
that are actually parallel must remain PARALLEL no matter what view.
(iso-view, top view, front view, side view, any view) (Many of competitors' are NOT.)
- All lines in any one group of parallel lines retain correct proportion in lengths as compared with true lengths.(Many of competitors' are NOT.)
- This is the main purpose for you to LOOK at the ISO VIEW from DIFFERENT ANGLES to
prepare, check, modify and correct your MODEL GEOMETRY, particularly NODE COORDINATES. Thus it ensures you a CORRECT input data ready for stress and design analysis.
Also, if needed, it can be used as drafting/blue-print primer. Without such precision,
the ISO-VIEW is not much useful any more except Commercial Ads Sale Gimmick.
- Precise 3-D Load Diagram: ( one-on-one corelated to text input data)
- Distributed Load: uniform, varying and so on (full and partial span),
- Concentrated: Force (Narrow arrow head) and Moment (Wide arrow head; 3-D convention)
- Precise 3-D Support Diagram: (one-on-one corelated to text input data)
- Force: Sharp Arrow head (one-way and two-way)
- Moment: Wide Arrow head (One-way and two-way)
- Precise SECTION ID Diagram
- ALL PUSH ONE-KEY-BUTTON to search premade Section Property DATA BASE.
- The DATA BASE is an ASCII|TEXT file,
which any one can PREMAKE with a REGULAR EDITOR.
- The I D Name (8-letter) of the section is in the form of W36X260, W30X108, etc.
- Inside an area of graph box, it is brought to attach to the member of interest graphically.
- It shows clearly on the screen. Thus you can not mistake or miss it visually.
- Define (Element) Local Coordiate System with 3rd Node
vs Beta Angle by others:
- You can define it with many options at
KEYUSP.DAT and
KEYPLOT.DAT .
(and at the same time to save you input time.)
- Beta angle by others creates confusion and difficulty for a complex
structure.
